Adult Bible Class

During the Sunday morning worship services and Wednesday evenings (WED) we provide equipping, teaching, and discipleship opportunities in our Adult Bible Class ministry at the GBC facility. WED classes have now ended for the spring and will resume in July.

SUNDAY MORNINGS

THE FEAR OF MAN

A seven week study on “The Fear of Man” begins on Sunday, June 11, at 9:00 a.m. in Room 101-102 – an Adult Bible Class (ABC). Class is led by Russell Dixon, Bill Cross, and Taylor Turner. Please register here No text book is needed, and class will not meet on July 2 (Men’s Retreat).

WEDNESDAY EVENINGS

Class resumes in July --  7:00-8:30 p.m. -- stay tuned.

Making Disciples of Jesus Christ

GBC Men’s Retreat Registration

All GBC Men (and mature high school men) are invited to attend a weekend at the Williamsburg Christian Retreat Center in Toano, June 30-July 2, 2017, for a time of fellowship, relaxation, and teaching (Jay Wegter, Executive Director of Gospel for Life and adjunct professor at The Master’s University). All meals provided while at the Center; lodging in dorm-style cabins. Cost per person is $80.00 and due to GBC by June 4; however, if cost is a hardship, scholarships are available. Make all checks to GBC ~ with Men’s Retreat on the memo line; drop in an offering box.   Register by June 4 HERE for each individual attending (to adequately account for lodging and food requirements). All men at Grace are invited to participate in ongoing breakfasts/lunches/dinners at area restaurants for edification and/or sermon review.

The desire of the GBC Men’s Ministry is to help connect every man into a discipleship relationship for meaningful friendship and accountability. These "food fellowships" are great opportunities for time with other believers. Join us if you are able.

Fall Women’s Retreat

Ladies: Save the date -- Our Fall Retreat is scheduled for October 20-22, 2017. Amy Baker, speaker at the 2016 Retreat, will return and share with us on: Picture Perfect: When Life Doesn’t Line Up.  We are thankful to have again secured the Skelton 4-H Center at beautiful Smith Mountain Lake. We strive to provide training, discipleship, encouragement, fellowship, and service opportunities under the authority of the Elders of GBC.
